JERTIH: Vanishing girl Siti Balqis Mohd Nor, 22, whose disappearances were highlighted by the media recently, will be sent for psychiatric assessment at Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kota Baru.
Her mother Norizan Said, 47, said the paranormal disturbances and media attention could have affected her daughter emotionally.

She said her daughter's behaviour had changed and she had become fierce and aggressive since returning from Jelebu, Negri Sembilan.

"I suspect the emotional disturbance stemming from the paranormal occurrences was too much for her and that was what caused her to run away to Negri Sembilan."

Last Sunday, Siti Balqis disappeared from home again.

Norizan alleged that her daughter was taken away by djinn to Gunung Jerai, but police found her at a friend's house in Jelebu on Thursday.

Previously, Siti Balqis had vanished on several occasions, only to turn up later at cemeteries, up on trees and once, in a cement mixer.

The case attracted nationwide interest and many bomoh offered to help the girl.

Some claimed to have helped ward off the djinn, and the disappearances stopped for a while, until her most recent "vanishing" act to Jelebu.

Meanwhile, state Health, Unity and Consumer Affairs Committee chairman Dr A. Rahman Mokhtar said according to her medical records, Siti Balqis suffers from thalassaemia.

He said thalassaemia sufferers could become depressed and emotionally unstable if they did not have proper medical care.

"The state government is prepared to assist both Siti Balqis and Norizan to seek psychiatric treatment or counselling."

JERTIH: Kegembiraan keluarga gadis misteri, Siti Balqis Mohd Nor, 22, mendapat 15 batu bernilai tinggi sejak Rabu lalu berakhir apabila batuan berkenaan didapati hilang semalam, selepas empat hari disimpan dalam bekas khas berisi air zamzam.

Ibu gadis itu, Norizan Said, 47, berkata 14 daripada 15 batu bernilai antaranya zamrud, delima dan nilam sebesar duit syiling 20 sen tiba-tiba ghaib pagi semalam walaupun ia dikawal ketat oleh anak saudaranya, Mohd Zainuddin Mohamad, 42.

Misteri Kehilangan Siti Balkis

Ghaib Secara Misteri
